Sheaf View Public House, Sheffield

The owner of the Sheaf View approached us to look at extending the licensed area, revamping the toilets and bar area  and also enlarging the cellarage at the ground floor/ basement. In conjunction with the total refurbishment of  the pub internally the beer garden and disabled access were also adressed

They wanted something that would match in well with the  traditional style of the building , and yet have a distinct identity as a separate space from the main part of the pub. Utilising timber detailing to the overhanging  roof and windows  the result is a modern extension with a large contemporary glass rooflight that sits well with the older parts of the pub . The new extension has proved very popular with the regulars and is a pleasant  light airy space.

Further alterations we have been involved with at The Sheaf include the design of a rear canopy to the older beer garden and disabled access alterations to existing entrances.
